Every day, thousands of care professionals worldwide work with patients suffering from dementia. At home, in the hospital, in the nursing home. Help is offered with structuring the day, maintaining physical capacity, carrying out daily activities, washing and dressing. There is, as it is so beautifully called, a great deal of empirical knowledge, the knowledge that has been gained over the years through careful observation, reflection, and experimentation. However, this knowledge is not widely available and is not, or not sufficiently, in the minds of scientific researchers. As a result, knowledge is lost and does not sufficiently benefit the target group.
